Champlain Valley Union High School will be hosting our “District III” Choral Festival on March 25, 2013, featuring the University of Southern Maine Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Robert Russell. While the day has yet to be formalized, please be aware that individual groups may elect to be in a workshop with Dr. Russell and his singers, and perform a piece or two on our evening concert.
On April 19, 2013, Cantus comes to the Lane Series in Burlington. CVU is hosting a workshop with them, presently scheduled for 11:30-12:30. Should any teachers wish to bring their singers, please notify Carl Recchia via e-mail: [email protected]. We are asking a $5.00 per student fee so we can pay the group. Further information will soon be available regarding the final schedule and plan.
